

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Teams exist to provide emotional and spiritual care support and to bring hope to those who are in the midst of crisis. Training people and forming a UK nationwide database of trained volunteer 'Response Chaplains and 'Response Pastors', who are ready to deploy at short notice in response to natural and man-made crisis or disaster. Also offering training to those who wish to bring comfort in their own communities via 'Community Crisis Ministry Teams', working through their local churches leadership.

In support of and complimenting the work of other organistions the BGEA RRT (UK) Volunteer Response Chaplaincy/Pastor training is now developing in the UK:
To serve God’s people for ministry when co-workers, friends, neighbours or others are impacted by a crisis or diaster.
Aim:
To meet the critical need for emotional and spiritual care, the Rapid Response Team is recruiting and training a network of volunteer 'Response Chaplains/Pastors' for the UK.
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, the harvest is truly plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest field.”
